Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1292" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1292" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
Group 1
Certain CP-433C, CS-433C, CS-533C, CP-563C, CS-563, CS-563C, and CS-583C Vibratory Soil Compactors equipped with cabs need to have tether belts added to the seat mounting arrangement. This will secure the seat and operator when the seat belt is worn properly. Also, on these compactors, thread inserts need to be replaced with weld nuts.
Group 2
Certain CS-433C, CP-533C, CS-533C, CP-563C, CS-563C, CS-573C, and CS-583C Vibratory Soil Compactors need to have 10 rivet nuts replaced with weld nuts.

Rework Procedure
Group 1 Machines:
Rework Procedure for Cabs
1. Remove seat, 114-2743 spacer plate and mounting plate from cab. Reference 116-0644 seat group and mounting.
2. Remove a total of 10 threaded inserts from the cab. Replace these with weldnuts using the existing holes to locate the weldnuts. Reference 134-3013 seat repair kit illustration.
NOTE: There is a total of four 8mm and six 10mm weldnuts used. Attention should be given to the proper location.
NOTE: For better access, it may be necessry to raise the cab. Use the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Guide as follows:
3. Position and weld two 128-3073 plates t the set mounting plate. These plates will be used to mount the 126-8056 belts.
NOTE: If these plates already exist, enlarge the bolt holes to 11mm diameter.
4. Clean and repaint all welded areas.
5. Inspect the two rear seat mounting plate holes. Enlarge these to 11.5mm x 20mm long if they are not to this size.
6. Reinstall the seat mounting plate, 114-2743 spacer plates and seat groups. Add the two 126-8056 belts using the 8T-4136 bolt, 6V-7744 nut and 8T-4121 washer as shown in the 116-0644 drawing.
7. Lower and reposition the cab.
Group 2 Machines:
