NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8664" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A slot may need to be ground in the grease hole of the lift arm pin bore on certain IT38F Integrated Toolcarriers. The lift arm pin bore may have a misaligned grease hole which could affect the service life of the pin.

No parts are needed for this rework.
Action Required
1. Relieve all hydraulic system pressure per the Service Manual.
2. Grease the joints (see Illustration 1) and determine if each is taking the lubricant. If not, proceed.
3. Remove specified pin (see Illustration 1) and sleeve bearing from each side of lift arm assembly.
4. Inspect for misaligned grease hole. If necessary, grind a slot from the misaligned hole exit on the inner diameter to allow grease flow into the sleeve bearing.
5. Re-install sleeve bearing and pin after cleaning the bore.
