NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0945" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A new air conditioner evaporator core needs to be installed and a heat reflective film applied to the windows to improve the cooling inside the cab of certain Challenger 65C, 70C, 75C and 85C Tractors. Complaints about cab cooling may occur even thought the cooling system is operating correctly. A new air conditioner evaporator core needs to be installed. Heat reflective Solis film is also recommended for installation to the side and rear windows of the cab.

Action Required
1. Install a new 1255841 Air Conditioner Evaporator Core.
2. Install Southwall Technologies Solis (TM) window film on the side and rear windows of the cab. This is the only product proven effective in Challenger cabs. Contact Southwall Technologies (415) 962-9111 extension 1261 for the name of the nearest dealer to contact for availability and installation.

The installer from Solis will expect the tractor to be located in a reasonably clean environment. The cab and the edge of the window where it meets the seal, should be blown clean with compressed air before the installer arrives. There is no need to wash the glass.
Service Claim Allowances
NOTE: This is a 3-hour job to change the evaporator core. The dealer may claim an additional $200 toward contracting the installation of the film by a Solis Installer.
