NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8563" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The existing 2U6731 Spring in the 7U9125 Transmission Control Group may not provide a satisfactory service life. A new 1312975/">131-2975 Spring is available and is a direct replacement.

Rework Procedure
Stop machine, engage parking brake, put the transmission in neutral. Remove the (4) 6V3884 Bolts (see Illustration) and 2U6312 Cover from the left side of the operator shift console to gain access to the 2U6731 Spring. Remove the bolts, washers from the spring to install the new spring. If the shift lever requires adjustment see the service manual procedure.
