Description of Change: An improved left hand rear view mirror and bracket are used on the 789 Trucks. The bracket was redesigned to improve vibration resistance. The mirror assembly allows easy replacement of the lens in case of breakage.
Adaptable To: The improved 8W7903 Mirror Group (same part number) is in effect with 789 Truck 9ZC252. The improved mirror group can be fitted to earlier 789 Trucks 9ZC152-9ZC251. The following parts are required to update earlier trucks.
Fitting the left hand rear view mirror to earlier trucks requires relocating the lower bracket on the rail assembly. See the illustration for locating dimensions and weld requirements for the lower bracket.
