Different Oil Used In Hydraulic System {5068}
Usage:
RR-250 ( 6ED ) Road Reclaimers, SS-250 ( 6DD ) Soil Stabilizers
The above machines are now using Caterpillar approved HYDO SAE 15 oil in their hydraulic system. Formerly, ATF Type F oil was used. Use of the new oil is effective with 6ED114 and 6DD117. Earlier machines may either continue to use ATF Type F oil or change to HYDO oils at the next oil change interval. Oil change intervals remain the same. Note this change in the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
