New, stronger 9R6671 Bolts are now available to mount the bevel gear to the case assembly for service repair. The original bevel gear is retained by rivets. If the bevel gear is replaced, the rivets are replaced by twelve bolts.
The new 9R6671 Bolts are available to replace the former 9R2481 Bolts which are canceled. The new bolts are assembled with twelve 3K3475 Nuts in both the 9R6692 and 9R6693 Rear Axle Assemblies.
