Description of Change: New mounting brackets and side view mirrors are now available for the listed trucks. The new brackets are more resistant to shock and vibration and provide a better installation for the Caterpillar mirrors.

Adaptable To: The new brackets and mirrors are adaptable to all listed trucks. The serviceable parts are listed in the chart and illustrations.

Installation Procedure

1. Remove the existing 5U4020 Handrail with 5U6546 Mirror from the right side of the truck. Discard the front mounting hardware except for the washers and retain all of the rear mounting hardware for use with the new handrail.

2. Install the 7U2546 Handrail and new brackets and mirror as shown in Illustration 1.

3. Remove the existing 5U6523 Mirror Support with 5U6546 Mirror from the cab door.

4. Install the new brackets and mirror as shown in Illustration 2.
