Bulkhead Nut Removed From Sideshift Lock Lines Group To Improve Sealing Of Hose{6509}
Usage:
428 ( 6TC ) and 438 ( 3DJ ) Backhoe Loaders
Description of Change: The sideshift lock lines group is improved on 428 and 438 Backhoe Loaders. The 6V9168 Bulkhead Nut located next to the 6V8987 Elbow has been removed. Removing this nut provides better thread engagement and helps eliminate leakage. See illustration.
Adaptable To: The 6V9168 Bulkhead Nut has been removed in the improved 9R1562 Sideshift Lock Lines Group. This change is effective with 6TC2163 (428 Loaders) and 3DJ1 (438 Loaders) and is adaptable to all earlier models listed above.
Location of 6V9168 Bulkhead Nut and 6V8987 Elbow in 9R1562 Sideshift Lock Lines Group.
