AP-800 ( 1BF ) And AP-1200 ( 2JD ) Asphalt Pavers
A hydraulic screed counterbalance system is available for AP-800 And AP-1200 Asphalt Pavers. The hydraulic screed counterbalance system applies a lifting force on the screed through the screed lift cylinders. This lifting force is easily adjustable for the desired counterbalance effect and remains constant at any given setting. An accumulator, in conjunction with the hydraulic system, assures a stable counterbalance effort on the screed at all times.
The hydraulic screed counterbalance system offers:
...more traction through weight transfer to the tractor.
...better paving surfaces because the screed will settle less while stopped on tender mixes.
...longer screed life due to less bearing weight on the screed plates.
The 8C7454, 7X5902, and 7X5901 Screed Counterbalance Kits are available for AP-800 (1BF1-Up), AP-1200 (2JD166-242), and AP-1200 (2JD243-Up) Asphalt Pavers, respectively.
