Additional Bolts Used In Trunnion Support For Oscillating Axle{3268,7051}
Usage:
826C Compactors
Description of Change: The trunnion support for the oscillating rear axle on 826C Compactors was formerly fastened to the frame with two bolts on each side. Three bolts are now used on each side. This reduces the possibility of the bolts loosening or breaking.
Adaptable To: The additional bolts are effective with 826C Compactor 87X823. It generally is not practical to add the additional bolts to earlier machines. However, the existing 2J8348 Bolts (1" diameter, 10" long) can be replaced by four 8K5130 Bolts that are also 1" diameter, but are 11" long. Use two nuts and 9S3263 Thread Lock on these bolts.
