Description of Change: A new hose assembly is used in the chassis brake control group on 785 Trucks. The hose assembly is between the air compressor and air dryer. See the illustration. Reports have indicated that it was possible for the former hose assembly to fail in this application.
Adaptable To: The new 7D3024 Hose Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 2G2477 Hose Assembly. The hose assembly is part of the 8W4438 Chassis Brake Control Group. When the new hose assembly is installed, use all of the existing hose clips.
Location of 7D3024 Hose Assembly.
