Anti-Spin Control Available To Improve Traction{4250,4001}

Usage:

768C, 772B, 776 Tractors;
769C, 773B, 777 Trucks

Description of Change: An anti-spin control group is available as an attachment for the above models. Use of this control permits the operator to partially (not completely) engage one rear wheel brake if that wheel starts to have a loss of traction (slip). The brake is engaged by a lever on the dash, which sends air pressure to an air master cylinder connected to the brake hydraulic system.

Use of the anti-spin control causes less stresses on the axle shafts and final drives than the NoSPIN differential. Do NOT use the anti-spin control with the NoSPIN.

Page 20 of the new Operators Guide, SEBU5860, or Page 5 of the former supplement, SEBU5825, gives more information on this control. Service information and troubleshooting information will be available later in the Service Manual.

Adaptable To: The anti-spin control is adaptable to all tractors and trucks shown in the chart. The Special Instruction shown in the chart has information for installation of the group. It does not come with the parts.
