Description of Change: A new rod end is now used in the transmission control group on all Series "G" Motor Graders. The rod end is made of steel and has a steel spherical bearing. This new rod end will permit a longer service life.
The former rod end had a brass bearing which in some applications did not have an acceptable service life.
Adaptable As: The new 6V9164 Rod End is a direct replacement for the former 7D9368 Rod End in all applications. The former rod end has been canceled.
