All 3304 And 3306 Engines
Description of Change: A new piston ring group is available for 3304 and 3306 Engines with 115 horsepower and above. The new ring group will give a longer service life in higher horsepower applications. There have been field reports of top ring failures in applications above 115 horsepower with the former ring group.
Adaptable To: The new 9S3068 Piston Ring Group is a direct replacement for the 7S9404 Piston Ring Group in horsepower applications of 115 and above. The 7S9404 Piston Ring Group will still give acceptable service life in applications below 115 horsepower.
