Description of Change: Three new magnetic latch solenoid assemblies are now available. The new magnetic latch solenoid assemblies are used for fuel shutdown on a variety of Caterpillar machines. The new solenoid assemblies contain an internal switch in the solenoid's latch circuit. The solenoid's latch coil is energized when the machines keyswitch is placed in the "START" position. The internal switch places the latch coil circuit open at the time the coil latches. This prevents overheating of the latch coil in the event of an extended engine cranking cycle.

Adaptable To: The new 155-4651, 155-4652, and 155-4653 Solenoid Assemblies are direct replacements for the former 8C-3662, 8C-3663, and 3E-7985 Solenoid Assemblies.
