Correct Planet Gear Bearings Must Be Used For Parts Service Of Transmission Gear Trains{3176}

776 Tractors And 777 Trucks

The correct planet gear bearings must be used for parts service of the transmission gear trains in 776 Tractors and 777 Trucks.

The 5P6441 Special Caged Bearing, which has a black color, must be used in the planet gears for the Number 1 gear train.

The 5M578 Caged Bearing, which has a silver-color cage, must be used in the Number 2 gear train.

These bearings have different capacities and must NOT be used in place of one another. The bearings must be used in the correct locations or the result will be early bearing failure.
