Description of Change: A new bonnet is now used on the inlet side of the transmission oil cooler on the above models. The new bonnet has bosses with threads so a bracket can be installed between the bonnet and the oil pan. The result is less vibration at the lower water bonnet of the oil cooler. Formerly, it was possible for the vibration to cause gasket failures at the upper water bonnet.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement when all the new parts shown in the chart are used together.
