Description of Change: New gear assemblies are used in the governor drive groups on these engines. The new gear assemblies include a new shaft with increased fatigue strength.

Location of the new gear assemblies in the governor drive groups.

Adaptable To: The new 137-1382 Gear Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 4P-5958 Gear Assembly in the 4P-9212 Governor Drive Group. The former gear assembly is canceled.

The new 137-1383 Gear Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 4P-5959 Gear Assembly in the 4P-9213 Governor Drive Group. The former gear assembly is canceled.

The new 137-1382 and 137-1383 Gear Assemblies are effective with 3612 (9RC227-Up) and 3616 (1PD208, 209, 211, 244, 250, 253-259, 267-Up) Engines.
