Description of Change: A self-locking bolt replaces the former bolt in the above engines. The self-locking bolt prevents the bolt from loosening, reducing the possibility of oil leakage from the cylinder block side covers.
Adaptable To: The 9X-8872 Bolt is a direct replacement for the 0L-1351 Bolt in the above engines. The 9X-8872 Bolt is a component of the 4P-8325, 9Y-6122, 9Y-6123, 135-6951, and 135-6952 Cylinder Block Cover Groups. The 9X-8872 Bolt is adaptable back to first production.
