Problem

On certain sound enclosed marine generator sets, the generator terminal box lid is contacting the circuit breaker.

Caterpillar ® is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified.

As an interim solution cover assembly (1) will need to be cut to avoid contact with the circuit breaker.

  1. Use the dimensions in Illustration 1 to cut cover assembly (1).
