Start By:

  1. Remove the engine enclosure (hood).

  1. Remove panel (1).

  2. Disconnect temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (2).

  3. Disconnect temperature sensor (flame detect) (3).

  4. Remove cables straps (4).

  5. Remove cable strap (5).

  6. Remove cable strap (6).

  7. Remove cable straps (7).

  8. Remove cable straps (8) and temperature sensor (DPF inlet, flame detect) (9).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install temperature sensor (DPF inlet, flame detect) (9) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads on temperature sensor (flame detect) (3) and to the threads of temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (2). Tighten temperature sensor (flame detect) (3) and temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (2) to a torque of 45 ± 5 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft).
