Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the fuel tank (left hand side).

1. Remove bolts (1) and covers (2).

2. Remove belt (3). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace".

3. Remove bolts (4) and guard (5).

4. Remove bolts (6) and guard (7). Repeat for the other side.

5. Remove bolts (8) and (9).

6. Remove yoke (10).

7. Use two people to remove crankshaft vibration damper and pulley (11). The weight of crankshaft vibration damper and pulley (11) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Installation Procedure

1. Install crankshaft vibration damper and pulley (11) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten bolts (8) to torque of 50 ± 10 N.m (37 ± 7 lb ft).
