Fuel Injection Nozzles - Remove and Install

Usage:

320D3 ESX

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the fuel injection lines.

  1. Remove two nuts (1) and adapter (2).

  2. Remove fuel injection nozzle (3). If necessary, use Tooling (A) to remove fuel injection nozzle (3).

  3. Repeat Step 1 through Step 2 for the remaining fuel injection nozzles.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install fuel injection nozzle (3) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten two nuts (1) to a torque of 16 ± 3 N·m (142 ± 27 lb in).
