New Engine Software Is Now Used for Certain C32 Marine Engines {1920}

Description Of Change: The new engine software that is used has multiple improvements to resolve issues for propulsion and auxiliary marine engines.

Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

The engine software includes the following changes for propulsion marine engines:

  • Added support for 127-1 Low Transmission Oil Pressure - most severe (3)

  • Update to remove the Bollard Test from Cat® Electronic Technician (ET)

  • Update to allow for multiple primary, secondary, tertiary throttle configurations

  • Update to temperature range for exhaust temperature in PMS settings
The engine software includes the following changes for auxiliary marine engines:

  • Added support for 444-1 Low Auxiliary Oil Pressure - most severe (3)

  • Update to temperature range for exhaust temperature in PMS settings

Note: After completing the installation of the software, check the throttle configurations as they default to "Not Installed".
