Description Of Change: Improved crankshafts are now used on certain Cat^® Engines that are listed above. The new crankshafts provide improved surface finish for the rear sealing surface on the hub.

Adaptable To: The improved crankshafts are adaptable to the Engines within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all Engines after the listed serial numbers. The part number remains the same.

Note: Examine the crankshaft surface for wear and tear. If required, refer to the respective Reuse and Salvage Guidelines of the Engine for guidance on usage of wear sleeve.
