Hood - Remove and Install - Left

Usage:

PM825 3C6

Start By:

  1. Remove Right-Hand Hood

  1. Use two of Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to support left-hand hood (1) in the open position. The weight of left-hand hood (1) is approximately 95 kg (210 lb)

  2. Remove retaining clip (2). Disconnect gas spring assembly (3). Repeat process for gas spring assembly (4).

  3. Return the left-hand hood to the closed position.

  4. Install remaining Tooling (A) into bolt hole (6). Use suitable lifting device to support hood (1). The weight of left-hand hood (1) is approximately 95 kg (210 lb).

  5. Remove four bolts (5). Remove left-hand hood (1).

  1. Install left-hand hood (1) in the reverse order of removal.
