- Apply a thin coat of oil to Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Install Tooling (B) into the ends of the camshaft. Install Tooling (C).
Note: If, Tooling (A) was removed use the following Steps to install Tooling (A).
- Install Tooling (B) into the engine until Tooling (B) is through the second camshaft bearing.
- Slide Tooling (A) over Tooling (B).
- Tighten the bolts for Tooling (A).
- Remove Tooling (B).

77 kg (170 lb) .The weight of camshaft (20) on a C175-20 is approximately95 kg (210 lb) . Install camshaft (20) halfway into the engine. Remove the suitable lifting device. Install camshaft (20). Illustration 6 g01228235 - Rotate the engine so that the number one piston is at top dead center on the compression stroke. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Finding Top Center Position for No. 1 Piston". Install cam gear (11). Install spacer (10). Install bolt (9). Install bolts (8).

- Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

Note: The camshaft can be installed from either end of the engine.
End By:
- Install the valve lifters.
- Install the turbochargers.
- Install the engine oil filter housing.
