Air Inlet Piping - Inspect

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.


Inspect the components of the air inlet system. Repair the components or replace the components for any of the following conditions:

  • Damage

  • Cracks

  • Leaks

  • Loose connections

For information on removal and installation, refer to the "Disassembly and Assembly" manual or consult your Cat dealer for assistance.
