Flywheel - Remove and Install

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (1) and position out of the way. Remove bolts (3) and remove crankshaft speed sensor (2).

  2. Install Tooling (A) and attach suitable lifting device to flywheel (5). The weight of flywheel (5) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Remove bolts (4) and remove flywheel (5).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install flywheel (5) in the reverse order of removal. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 120 ± 6 N·m (89 ± 4 lb ft) and then turn an extra 90 degrees.
