Description of Change: A new control group is available for the truck engines listed above. The new control group does not have an oil pressure sensor and requires the installation of a sensor kit if one has not been previously installed. The new configuration increases the reliability of both the control group and the oil pressure sensor.
Adaptable To: The new 132-4363 Control Group with a 122-1649 Sensor Kit for use on 3406B (8TC, 5YG, 2EK, 4CK) Truck Engines, is a direct service replacement for the 3E-8540 Control Group. The new 132-4363 Control Group with a 118-6256 Sensor Kit for use on 3406C (4CK) Truck Engines, is a direct service replacement for the 0R-6471 Control Group.
