Water Temperature Regulators (Low Leak) Adaptable To 3208 Truck Engines {1355}

Usage:

3208 (02Z66689-Up, 51Z81935-Up) Truck Engines

Description of Change: The water temperature regulators (low leak) in the above truck engines, have a rubber sealed poppet valve to reduce leakage. The water temperature regulator (low leak) helps eliminate engine overcooling, white smoke and reduces warm-up time. Engine life can be improved with the higher, more stable engine temperature, which helps eliminate crankcase corrosion problems due to condensation.

Adaptable To: The 82°C (180°F) 102-8392 Water Temperature Regulator (Low Leak) is effective with the above truck engines. The 88°C (190°F) 7C-2190 Water Temperature Regulator (Low Leak) is adaptable to all 3208 (40S, 32Y, 02Z, 51Z) Truck Engines.

NOTE: The water temperature regulators (low leak) can also be used in cold climate applications to reduce overcooling and white smoke.
