Truck Engine News, September 1996, Page 5, "New Parts Available To Eliminate Wear Between The Oil Cooler Bonnet And The Elbow".

The first sentence of the second paragraph in this article is incorrect. The correct sentence follows:

A new 133-7016 Oil Cooler Bonnet and 133-7017 Elbow replaces the former 4P-3691 Oil Cooler Bonnet, 116-1093, 124-2720 or 128-0333 Elbow.

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

A new oil cooler bonnet and elbow is available for the above truck engines. The new parts eliminate coolant leakage caused by problems of wear in the fitting between the oil cooler bonnet and the elbow.

A new 133-7016 Oil Cooler Bonnet and 133-7017 Elbow replaces the former 4P-3691 Oil Cooler Bonnet, 7E-5393, 116-1093, 124-2720 or 128-0333 Elbow. When making this change use a 133-7018 Hose and (2) 8T-6703 Clamps. Replace the 6V-5504 Seal between the oil cooler bonnet and the oil cooler, and the 100-8525 Gasket between the elbow and the water pump.

NOTE: See the illustration for location of the parts.

(1) 133-7016 Oil Cooler Bonnet. (2) 8T-6703 Clamps. (3) Regulator. (4) 133-7017 Elbow. (5) Water pump. (6) 133-7018 Hose. (7) Oil filter base. (8) Oil cooler.
