Engine News SEBD9939, 24 April 2014, "A New Oil Pump and Tube Assemblies Are Now Used for Certain C9 Engines". Disregard the previous article, refer to the article that follows.

Description of Change: The new oil pump and lines group being used are more robust extending the service life of the lubrication system.

Adaptable To: The 396-6022 Gerotor Pump can be used on the C9 commercial engines. Replace the previous oil pump with the 396-6022 Gerotor Pump, the 281-2210 Outlet Elbow, and the appropriate tube assembly. Table 1 contains the previous and new part numbers.
