Description of Change: A new valve lifter assembly is used on these truck engines. The new valve lifter assembly provides continuous lubrication to the valve lifter roller and the camshaft lobe. The increased lubrication will result in increased service life for the lifter and camshaft. The new valve lifter assembly has increased the size of the lower thrust land to provide increased scuff resistance.
Adaptable To: The new 101-7788 Valve Lifter Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 9Y4011 Valve Lifter Assembly.
