Usage:
3208, 3306, 3406 And 3408 Truck Engines
All 7000 series fuel injection nozzles have new date code information. The new date code contains the day, month, and year the nozzle was manufactured. The previous code contained only the month and year. The new method provides tighter control of a specific time period for tracking changes. The first two places (DD) in the date code indicate the day of the month. The third place in the date code (M) is a letter, "A" through "M" excluding "I" that indicate the month. The last two places (YY) in the date code indicate the year. For example, the date code "05A94", would indicate the nozzle was manufactured on January 5, 1994.
Part Number (A). Date Code (B). Upper Adapter Seal (1). 114-3364 Bleed Screw Seal (2). Lower Body Seal (3).
Effective with 7000 Series Fuel Injection Nozzles with date code "05A94" and later, is the use of a new seal material in three locations. New seal material has better heat set resistance. Location (1) is the upper adapter seal. Location (2) is the new 114-3364 Bleed Screw Seal. Location (3) is the lower body seal. Only the new 114-3364 Bleed Screw Seal is serviced.
