The new 7X-1715 Cable Assembly (small, 40 pin breakout) is available to help test, check and adjust the electronic engine control systems.

7X-1715 Cable Assembly (1). 9X-1314 Red Wire Assembly (2). 9X-1315 Black Wire Assembly (3).

The new cable assembly provides the following benefits:

* It can be used to provide test points for individual wires in the wiring harness.

* It makes troubleshooting of electronic engine control systems faster, easier, and more convenient.

* The "T" cable has two probes attached to the pigtail portion of the harness [9X-1314 Red Wire Assembly (2) and 9X-1315 Black Wire Assembly (3)].

* The probe tips of a standard multimeter can be inserted into the tip jacks of the red and black wire assemblies. This allows the serviceman to check signal or any wire of between any two wires.
