New Part Number     Part Name     Former Part Number
8T-4984     Hose Clamp     144-0367
Verify if your machine is equipped with the 144-0367 Hose Clamp. In order to know which clamp is equipped on your machine, check the stamp that is on the clamp. Illustration 5 shows the location of the stamp. If 70-92 is stamped on the clamp, it is the 144-0367 Hose Clamp. If 57-79 is stamped on the clamp, it is the 8T-4984 Hose Clamp.

Location of stamp

Replace the 144-0367 Hose Clamp with a new 8T-4984 Hose Clamp if the coolant has leaked from the various locations of the clamps. Tighten the 8T-4984 Hose Clamp to the torque of 11 ± 1 N·m (8 ± 1 lb ft). The clamp is installed correctly when the Belleville washer stacks are nearly collapsed flat and there are no cracks.
