Description of Change: The manufacturing process for the new exhaust valves provides a longer service life than the former valve.

The former exhaust valve was replaced by two different valves. One of the new valves is for non-landfill applications and the other new valve is for landfill applications.

Adaptable To: The new exhaust valves and the former exhaust valve are listed in Table 1. The former exhaust valve is canceled.

Note: Make sure to use the correct exhaust valve for the application.

The new exhaust valves are effective with engines built beginning 11May 2012.
