Battery Circuit Breaker Installation
Battery Circuit Breaker "QF1" Connection
The UPSB220 provides internal contacts for battery circuit breaker QF1 connections.
ReferenceFor wiring information, refer to the Media Contact Board information in Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Component Description".
Connect the cable from connector XR3 (pin 2 to pin 8) on the "Media Contacts 11" board in the UPS cabinet to connector XR1 in the battery cabinet that contains the battery circuit breaker "QF1".
Note: Units with multiple battery cabinets that contain QF1 battery circuit breakers must be connected as follows: connect the contacts from XR1 in each cabinet in series prior to making the connections with XR3 on the "Media Contact 11" board.
