New 1U8115 Generator Test Lead Set With Insulated Tips {0785}

Usage:

The new 1U8115 Test Lead Set is available for testing energized electrical circuits. This test lead set is designed to work with the current 6V7800 and 6V7070 Multimeters which have 9.50 mm (.375") diameter input connectors. The new test lead probes have spring-loaded insulating sleeves over the tips of the metal probes. This will help prevent the probes from making accidental electrical contact with wires and terminals during testing. Normally, only the very tip of the new probe is exposed. However, the spring-loaded insulating sleeve on the probe can be pushed back to uncover more of the probe tip. Also, the insulating sleeve can be pushed back and locked in position to uncover approximately 6.3 mm (.25") of probe tip. The new test lead set is rated for a maximum of 700 volts AC or DC. Each set contains one red and one black 1378 mm (54.0") long lead. The connector on each test lead is a standard banana plug with a 9.50 mm (.375") diameter protective cover. The leads cannot be used on earlier multimeters with larger diameter input connectors.
