Usage:
416, 426, 428, 436, 438 Backhoe Loader Engines;
3114, 3116 Caterpillar Engines;
4.236 Perkins Engines
The new 1U8763 Lifting Bracket Assembly is primarily for removal and installation of engines in backhoe loaders. The bracket's upper beam for the lifting eye is offset and will clear any engine compartment supports over the rear of the engine. The bracket also clears the cab so it is not necessary to remove the cab to remove or install the engine. The adjustment of the hooks on the lower beam adapts readily to the Cat 3114 and 3116 Engines and Perkins 4.236 Engines.
The new 1U8763 Lifting Bracket Assembly is adjustable for use with both four and six-cylinder engines. Adjustment for the lifting hooks extends from 584 mm (23") to 838 mm (33") and the lifting eye can be adjusted from 295 mm (11.5") on one side of the bracket's centerline to 38 mm (1.5") on the other side to allow for uneven weight balance or to angle the load.
Total load capacity for the lifting bracket assembly is 1816 Kg (4000 lb.). This load capacity allows use of the bracket for Cat 3114 and 3116 Engines and Perkins 4.236 Engines with transmissions still attached. The load capacity and adjustable angling feature expands the lifting bracket's applications to other components in addition to engines.
Another feature allows the lifting bracket to be rotated up to 13° in either direction and locked in position so the bracket's lifting eye will move parallel to the centerline of the engine. Also an air-powered nut adjustor tool may be applied to either end to position the lifting eye when angling a load.
