Engine News SEBD9565, 11 October 2008, "New Starter Lines Group and Prelube Pump Group Are Used". Disregard this artice. Refer to the following article.

Description of Change: New air starting lines groups are used for G3500 Engines that use the Model T112 or T121 starter. These lines groups are acceptable for use in petroleum applications. The new lines groups meet the petroleum industry standards. The new design allows the new lines group to be installed on the engine at the factory.

A new air prelube pump group that incorporates a turbine drive motor is used on the above engines.

Adaptable To: The new lines groups are adaptable to any G3500 Engine that use the starter groups that are in Table 1. All factory installed hoses are constructed of braided stainless steel. The connection points are shown in Illustration 1. If necessary, install a pressure regulator with a CV40 flow rate before the turbine starter.

The 326-2623 Prelubrication Oil Pump Gp uses the existing 324-9181 Gear Pump Gp and the existing 1W-4253 Support Bracket Assembly. The new pump group incorporates the 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor group.

Prelube times are reduced by the more rugged 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor group.

The 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor operates in the same pressure range as the available starter groups.

The 7W-0522 Air Motor Lubricator Gp and 4N-3411 Relay Valve Gp are no longer required in the prelube system for the turbine motor.

The new 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor is approximately 140 mm (5.5 inch) longer than the 3N-1287 Prelubrication Motor .
