Start By:

  1. Remove the turbocharger outlet pressure sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger Outlet Pressure Sensor - Remove and Install".
  2. Remove the inlet air temperature sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet Air Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install".

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.

  1. Turn the external water supply to the OFF position.

  1. Drain the water from the aftercooler into a suitable container for storage or for disposal.

  1. Remove tube assemblies (1) and loosen clamp assemblies (2) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (4). The weight of aftercooler (4) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (3) and remove aftercooler (4) .
