90° Elbow Added To Air Cleaner Group To Prevent Damage To The Air Filter Service Indicator{1051,7452}
Usage:
All 3406, 3408 and 3412 Industrial and Marine Engines
Description of Change: A 90° elbow has been added between the air filter service indicator and the cleaner group on the above engines. The elbow changes the position of the indicator so it will not be damaged by high temperatures caused by the exhaust manifold. Formerly, some conditions caused temperatures high enough to damage the indicator.
Adaptable To: The 3B6552 Elbow can be installed in air cleaner groups on all earlier 3406, 3408 and 3412 Industrial and Marine Engines. Make sure the air filter service indicator is turned away from the exhaust manifold when the elbow is installed.
