SERVICE MAGAZINE, DECEMBER 4, 1978, PAGE 5. In the article "New Exhaust Valve Has Improved Three-Piece Construction", remove "16G Motor Graders" from the sub-title. The exhaust valve change has no application to this model.

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

Description of Change: A new exhaust valve is used in the above models. The new valve has a three-piece construction in comparison with the two-piece construction of the former valve. The stem of the new valve is not changed, but the valve head is now made of a special steel with a stellite face for the valve seat. Formerly, the complete head of the valve was a stellite casting. The new design has wear and seat face characteristics similar to the former design, but is not as easily damaged during storage and installation. Also, the new steel valve head will not have casting defects found in some former valves.

Adaptable As: The new 8N875 Exhaust Valve is a direct replacement for the former 7S6767 Exhaust Valve, which is canceled.
