Longer Bolts Are Now Used To Fasten The Engine Fan Assembly To The Adapter{1356}
Usage:
3406, 3408 and 3412 Industrial Engines
Description of Change: Longer bolts are now used to fasten the 40" (1016 mm) and 46" (1168 mm) diameter blower and suction fan assemblies to the fan adapters on the 3406, 3408 and 3412 Industrial Engines. The bolts used formerly were too short for correct thread engagement, because 2M849 Flat Washers had been installed on them. The bolts now used are 0.25" (6.35 mm) longer than the former bolts and will give the correct amount of thread engagement.
Adaptable As: The longer S1587 Bolt is a direct replacement for the S1585 Bolt.
