Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (7). The weight of turbocharger (7) is approximately 23 kg (51 lb). Install turbocharger (7) on the exhaust manifold.

- Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft).
- Connect tube assembly (8) .
- Connect tube assemblies (6) .

- Install clamp assembly (5). Tighten the nut on clamp assembly (5) to a torque of 14 ± 1 N·m (124 ± 9 lb in). Lightly tap around the diameter of the clamp assembly with a soft hammer. Tighten the nut to a torque of 14 ± 1 N·m (124 ± 9 lb in).
- Position guard (3) and install bolts (2) .

- Install bolts (1) and install bolts (4) .
- Fill the Cooling System with Coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
End By: Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
