Sirs Index--Miscellaneous Items And Special Publications
At the end of the SIRS INDEX are two fiche with no model identification on the heading. Each fiche has a special purpose.
Two important fiche in your SIRS Index are "Miscellaneous Items" and "Special Publications".
... Miscellaneous Items. If you cannot find an article or instruction under a model name, look at the fiche titled "MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS". If the article you need is general in nature, you will find it on this fiche in component code sequence. Examples of such articles are announcements of new tools, seals, turbocharger parts and track adjustments.
... Special Publications. Some magazines and booklets are printed one time. They are shown on the last fiche in the SIRS Index called "SPECIAL PUBLICATIONS". On this fiche you will find "Guidelines for Reusable Parts", "Analyzing Failure" booklets and "Successful Engine Service". These booklets are listed one time in Component Code order of the subject matter.
