Description of Change: A new oil supply line is used for the turbochargers on the above engines. The new tube assembly has a .50" (12.7 mm) outside diameter, which is common (the same) on the 3300 Series Engines. The former turbocharger oil supply tube assembly had excessive (too much) vibration at or near engine high idle, which caused failures to the tube assembly. The new tube assembly is fastened to the turbocharger drain line to prevent failures caused by vibration. A new gasket, made of high-swell (expansion) material is also used with the new tube assembly to prevent oil leakage.
